24th & 25th Jan - RSPB - Bird Watch Weekend.
The Park is opening a new Bird Watching Area and the RSPB will
have a stand in our Conference Room. They will be selling a
variety of bird feeders and bits 'n' bobs and RSPB staff will be
available to answer questions.


 

  February

 
14th Feb - Valentine's Day Llama Walk
Valentine's Day falls on a saturday this year. A perfect
gift for an animal lover would be a llama walk. The walk starts
at 11am and will last approximately an hour and a half.

15th Feb - Knit and Natter
East Grinstead Knit and Natter Group will be in our Conference
Room demonstrating various knitting and crocheting techniques.
Do please come along and join in.

16th-20th Feb - School Half Term Children's Quiz.

21st Feb-8th March - Alpaca Knitwear Sale.

23rd-8th March - Fair Trade Fortnight.

4th - 19th April - Easter School Holiday Quiz.

Take part in our quiz and follow clues around the park to receive a small prize.

Thursday 16th April - East Grinstead Spinners

Spinning demonstrations and advice.


10th - 19th April - Easter Llama Hunt.

Children follow clues around the park to find colourful pictures of llamas to win an egg or small prize. The Llama hunt is open to children of all ages and there is no additional charge.

12th & 13th April - Easter Woodcraft Fair 11.00am - 4.30pm

The Sussex Wood Craft Society will be at The Park demonstrating their skills and giving advice on trug making, pyrography, wood carving and wood turning. Free admission.

19th April - Local Produce Market - 10am - 2pm.

Come and join us in supporting our local food and drink producers.

Enjoy a leisurely 2.5 mile guided walk in association with the RSPB through our grounds and out into the Ashdown Forest looking at local wildlife. Sunday 3rd May - Alpaca Shearing Day. 10.00am - 4pm

Come and see how we shear our llamas and alpacas. Ben, our shearer will be here to answer questions and talk you through the shearing process. Spinning demonstartions by East Grinstead Spinners. Normal admission prices apply.

2nd May - 10th May - Art in the Park with Cogcraft Concepts. 11.00am - 4.30pm

Local artist Juliet Murray will be holding an exhibition in our Conference Room of contemporary pastel paintings and vintage prints. All exhibits will be for sale. Free admission to the exhibition.


24th and 25th May - Craft Fair. 10.30am - 4.30pm

A wide range of local Sussex crafts.

30th & 31st May - East Grinstead & District Embroiderers Guild. 11am - 4.30pm

Exhibition and demonstation of embroidery.

25th May - 29th May - Children's School holiday Quiz for Half Term.
