Meet Our Animals

A few of our interesting animals

Tom - chief publicity Llama

Our PR llama who has his own Twitter and Facebook Page and is a star of both the TV and web.  Tom is an extremely good looking llama who has won endless 'Best in Show' awards.  He has now retired from showing and spends his time tweeting  to his loyal band of followers.  He has become very popular and is often requested when llama walks are booked. Tom is the handsomest of our animals.

lionel_615x640.jpgLionel

The llama that walks by himself.  Llamas are gregarious animals, living in herds with their family and friends - not Lionel.  Every now and again he jumps out of his field and wanders off on his own.  Sometimes he spends the night in Linda's garden and eats all the flowers but he is always enticed back with a yellow bucket of food.  Lionel is the cleverest of our animals.

baby_marco.jpgMarco - the youngest llama

The newest arrival on the Park.  Marco was born in September 2011 and is a very laid back baby llama seeking attention from everyone.  He is spoilt by his mum Maria and all his aunts and uncles.  His favourite game is waiting until his mum is at the other side of the field and then galloping as fast as he can to surprise her.  Marco is the youngest of our animals.

Timmy - a mixed up Alpaca

The Alpaca who thinks he is a llama.  Timmy was orphaned at birth so was raised by a surrogate llama mother.  He grows a very thick fleece in the winter and looks like a great big bundle of fluff.  Timmy prefers the company of Llamas so we try not to remind him he is really an Alpaca.  Timmy is the most mixed up of our animals.

abigail__baby_640x480.jpgAbigail - a very bossy llama

A very bossy llama.  Abigail is not very big, but thinks it is her job to tell all the other llamas what to do and when.  At night she leads them back to their shelter and in the morning is the first out into the field.  Abigail is the bossiest of our animals.

blitzen.jpgBlitzen - a very important Reindeer

A very important reindeer and in charge of the sleigh team here at the Park whilst Father Christmas and Rudolph are at the North Pole.  You wont see Blitzen fly (except on Christmas Eve) but you may see her training the other reindeer and making sure they stay fit.  Her magnificant antlers help her to pull a heavy sleigh  loaded with presents.  Blitzen is the most important animal at the Park.
