Dear Customers and Friends of the Llama Park,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of the Llama Park.
We had hoped to open our doors in the middle of May and see you all again for the summer. However, due to the impacts of Covid on our business over the last year and the very recent and sudden loss of the owner of the Park – our husband and father, Bobby Schuck – we have made the very difficult decision to shut down the business.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our customers and friends, for the very joyous and fun-filled 8 years that our family has had at the Park. We also thank our incredible Llama Park team who have supported us through thick and thin and whom we love from the bottom of our hearts.

LLAMA WALKS
Book a llama for a walk through the stunning scenery of Ashdown Forest. Lead your own personal llama and have fun as he, or she, enjoys the trek with you, stopping to nibble on favourite leaves and perusing the view as you go along companionably.
FULL LLAMA walks for adult and shorter walks for FAMILIES.
RESTAURANT & COFFEE SHOP
Our delicious breakfasts, refreshments, snacks, full-on lunches and cream teas are served seven days a week and we are known for our roast Sunday lunches, subject to availability…!

Goodbye Bobby

A message for friends, customers and family of the Llama Park, from his daughter, Lily.
Following the sudden and heartbreaking passing of my wonderful dad, Chief Llama Farmer and Co-owner of the park, Bobby Schuck, it is with a heavy heart that I postpone reopening of the Llama Park. We will now be targetting reopening in the middle of May in line with the next Covid phase.
The reopening of any business in the current climate is not easy and when it does eventually happen, the team at the Llama Park want to make sure it is done properly with both the safety and enjoyment of customers in mind.
Any customer with a booking between now and the middle of May will be contacted directly via email.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the wave of support that my mum and I have received over the last few days. I still cannot believe my dad is gone but we are touched by the impact he has made during his wonderfully rich life.

It is with immense sadness that we inform friends and customers of The Llama Park about the passing of Bobby Schuck – the best husband, father, friend, boss, ally and mentor that anyone could ever hope for. Bobby passed away very suddenly on Tuesday 23rd of March but with no pain or fear. He was very well looked after by both Llama Park and NHS staff until the very end.
Bobby lived nearly 73 wonderful years filled with love, adventure, rock and roll, laughter and a kind of soulfulness that only people who knew him will really understand. He moved on to wherever the best people go and joined his beautiful son Max just in time to celebrate his 37th birthday on Wednesday 24th March.
His wife, Sue and Daughter, Lily are working with the wonderful Llama Park team and friends of the family to understand next steps. For now, we can only ask you for your patience and understanding during this incredibly difficult time for our family.

WEDDINGS
The Llama Park is a stunning location for a wedding and holds a Marriage Licence which means that couples can tie the knot on site in our Marriage Barn before going on to enjoy their very own tailor-made wedding reception and party on site in the Llama Park’s Function Barn.
CORPORATE EVENTS / PARTIES
The Llama Park has function rooms available for local businesses and groups to hold workshops and private meetings to get “away” from the office. The venue can be hired for birthday parties, hen parties and many other types of events.
OUR ANIMALS
In addition to the llamas we have many other animals for you to visit: alpacas, sheep, donkeys, ponies, reindeer, pigs along with our beautiful peacocks and other birds. Animals are available for adoption which makes a great gift.
